I.Mupferit Posted June 10, 2003 Share Posted June 10, 2003 I have found a battery type which although physically slightly bigger should still fit in the space vacated by the present, puny, Banner battery. It has a rating of 44 Ah and 390 cranking amps. What, if any, problems would this create for the standard alternator and charging circuit? R2D2 Posted June 10, 2003 Share Posted June 10, 2003 Try looking at the Oddessy range of dry batteries. It isn't gel but a "tissue" design. I have fitted one to my Rally Car about 6 months ago.
