Greg Park
I know a lot of 7'ing is of interst to all, but wouldn't it be an idea to split into types of 7: - Classic, Ford, HPC, K & Supersports, Superlite, R's etc Sure it would open up a little debate about what should go into each type but it would be quicker for each everyone to keep an eye on all things relevant to their model. Greg Park
OK so you don't want to split forums by type, but do we have a register for each type of model: - HPC - Superlight R - R500 Worked well in the Porsche club [8o} and helped to group relevant issues! And it's always good to get similar models out together at meetings. 😬 Parky
Barry
Worked well in the Porsche club [8o} It may have worked in the Porsche club where there are very distinct models eg 911, 914, 924, 928, 93n, 944, 96n which are all distinct shapes. But with the exception of the SV, essentially all sevens are the same. All we're talking about are detail differences. The major differences in sevens are the axle, gearbox and engine types. Many people move between the variations on this eg people have gone from live to de dion, 4 to 6 speed, or xflow to Zetec, or even xflow to K. - HPC - Superlight R - R500 Ah yes, but which HPC, the real ones (BDR engined) or the VX carb ones, or the Vx Injection ones? And it's always good to get similar models out together at meetings Actually, it's better to get us all out together In the forums we have the GOGs upstairs and the UTs downstairs, that's too much fragmentaton as it is, this is a small club, even more fragmentation would be silly.
