Paul,

 

It's probably 23mm - but Caterham have been known to state 19mm and 13mm!

 

It's actually very easy to measure your existing wheels.

 

Just measure the distance from rim to rim and divide the figure by 2. This gives you the notional centre point. Then measure the actual distance from the rim to the inside face of the wheel hub. The difference between this and the notional centre is the offset.

Yes Mike - that's what the manual says.

 

However, the minator and superlight wheels that Caterham sell are ... -23mm!!

 

But 4mm either side is not going to make much difference. The -19mm will give a bit more clearance between tyre and cycle wing stays.

Buying wheels can be a tricky thing, when I had some R500 wheels made last year to my own dimensions (they had to be correct to the mm) , Mike Barnby insisted on working on back depth rather than offset. ie distance from inward facing rim to hub face. I know some other wheel companies do this as well as its easier to measure.
