The only thing he finds more interesting is cows. Think they must have lost a Spitfire when they came over, only 2 planes. Still it beats 747's from Heathrow. Havnt been for a couple of years, but definately am going this year. http://www.fighter-collection.com/legends/ How would car parking work at Shed Meet 2? At airshows you park where you are put, based on when you arrive. If people are arriving at different times, they & the 7s will be spread across the carpark. It may be worth approaching the organisers / IWM to see whether we could park together. I guess it depends how organised we want to be. If it is nice day, you want to get there first thing, when the gates open otherwise you'll be queing trying to get off the M11. getting in early also gives time to bag a good spot to watch the flying & have a look round the museum / ground exhibits before the flying starts in late morning or lunchtime. Rachael Posted June 10, 2003 Author Share Posted June 10, 2003 We often don't bother to go in to Duxford itself, but sit on the flight line just outside, you get a good view, but of course can't go in to hangar 1 to hug the Harrier 😬 Guess we could all meet up together beforehand and go in together...
