Red / Silver Bonnet Stripe, 3 sets of rims and CR500 / 7" ACB 10s tyres, heater if required (not currently fitted), full roll cage etc. etc. R500 composite drivers seat, 6 speed race gear box rebuilt end of last season, dry sump, wide front track etc. etc. Astratech lap timer and beacon. Factory fitted / plumbed in exstinguisher. Professionally maintained in workshop by Caterham Specialist Engineer. Coupled with; Brian James Mino trailer with the non standard long ramps (over £1500 new) + straps and secure toeing eye lock. An absolute bargain at 14K for the lot for a quick sale. Fantastic track or race car in full race trim. Also, two cloth seats, Cayalyst exhaust (has race exhaust fitted but required for MOT), wind screen (currently has aerofoil fitted) and MOT to September (yep, it's road worthy !). Jason Bew Posted June 8, 2003 Author Share Posted June 8, 2003 To answer all questions, I ideally want to sell the car first as the deal with all the parts and trailer I feel is very good. However if someone took the car off my hands I could then sell the remaining parts. As it is, someone could have a track / race car with trailer and different tyres etc. ready to go. The wheels are standard 13", as per roadsport any roadsport A. The car has not had ANY chassis damage etc. and the wheel arches could be replaced if you which - they're not expensive. Lastly the car is a 1999 Roadsport, it is also the correct Roadsport chassis with extra cross bracing, as opposed the the 'Road Going' Roadsport, which is slightly different ! Many thanks, Jason. Jason Bew Posted June 9, 2003 Author Share Posted June 9, 2003 Thanks Steve, I do believe it is a fantastic car, handles great and superb in the wet, no crash damage either so original chassis and is on offer with an array of parts ready to race with no extra's required. Even with the MOT exhaust which aren't cheap ! It is a very very regrettable sale, however amongst other things, I am moving and can't afford a garage to keep her in.
