Dry sump tank - Oil Level

Recommended Posts

X-flow dry sump tank. Splittable. 6" diameter, 14" high.

Top plate is 6" down from the top of the tank,

Bottom plate is 3.5" up from the bottom of the tank.

("Plate" refers to horizontal holes disc which obviously prevents surging and helps do something. Don't know exactly what, nor what they're called)

WHERE SHOULD THE OIL LEVEL BE 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔

The level should be below the top plate with the engine running as this plate alows the oil to swirl to remove air and stop oil sloping into the breather pipe you will find the oil level will rise with the engine running
