Noger, Dave, Meldrew,

Just be thankful that you do not know what they are talking about, you would quickly lose the will to live...especially if you are not allowed to have any lunch today because you haven't finished all your lessons ☹️

Noger *thumbup*

Helps Hoopy pull Tam back in - glad I have started off the Littlest Hobo singing across the country.

Can I check was anyone else banned, like Mrs B, from watching any other channel but BBC and she was also banned from Grange Hill - which I can't work out as she went to a inner-city comprehensive in Leicester.

I also throw Hong Kong Phuey into the mix - especially cos the stripey cat was called spot.

"He's got style, a groovy smile and and a car that just won't stop"

Number one super guy. *thumbup*

Buda 😬 😬 😬

The corollary of that is

"Hey hey, are you ready to play?

It's time to come and play with the Sweeney"

I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but I went to uni with Jamie of magic torch fame. His dad was Hall of Cosgrove /Hall and was the 19y.o. ginger, beardy spitting image of lil Jamie. The story goes that the character was based on him!

Hong Kong Phooey, number one super guy.

Hong Kong Phooey, quicker than the human eye.

He's got style, a groovy style, and a car that just won't stop.

When the going gets rough, he's super tough, with a Hong Kong Phooey chop

😬

Cheers Windy

The Sweeney is great - been watching it on Sky.

A friend who helps do a Cult TV conference has been putting together theme tunes with the karaoke words on the screen (he's a bit of an IT wiz) and the opening sequences. Very cool. I'm hoping to get the Fall Guy off him for my computer.

Meandering hopelessly away from the topic, but following on from Buda's analysis of the Tweenies/Sweeney amusement potential, you may also be interested to learn that you can cheer up New Order's classic piece of student-bedsit-dance-grump-misery "Blue Monday" by singing the words of "The Sun Has Got His Hat On" to the same tune.

Try:

"The sun has got his hat on

hip hip hip hooray

the sun has got his hat on and he's coming out to play

Now we'll all be happy

hip hip hip hooray

the sun has got his hat on and he's coming out to play"

"is it the mild mannered janitor? Could be!"

Pure class 😬 😬

I made a reference at work the other day to leaping into a filing cabinet and coming out as a superhero - people looked at me like I was mad *eek*

No change there then *tongue*

Thing that stopped me carrying out a demonstration was whether it was in via the top drawer, and out the bottom, or vice versa 🤔 *confused*

Caterham 21 VHPD *cool* - one of the few *thumbup*
