Excluding kids programmes (which have loads of cool theme tunes), my joint favourites of all time (and probably never to be beaten) are:

Mission Impossible and

Hawaii Five-O

Close behind is The Professionals and the old Cricket music (Booker T & the MGs, I think)

Off the cuff, crap ones include Crossroads (the old one), Emmerdale Farm, Neighbours, Eldorado

Pat and his not quite black and white cat

You think that you are sad, my wife has all the Professionals books.

And she drives a Capri.

And just to rub salt into the wounds, I spent about £5 grand......... yes £5 grand on it last year. Just think what I could had done to the Se7en with that. *mad* *mad* *mad* *mad* *mad* *mad* *mad*

I must be mad *eek* *eek* *eek* *eek*

But it does look good in the driveway. but not of course as good as the se7en. 😬 😬 😬 😬

Nope. *mad* *mad* 🙆🏻

2.0 laser auto. 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻

Drives like a Dog. *thumbdown*

But its got new body work, re-vamped engine. And cos the rest of the car looked good (if you like that sort of thing) had to get the RS wheels re-done at £45 each *mad*

I hate that car, and it hates me 🙆🏻

But the wife loves it, so its money well spent (NOT *mad*) 😬

I love Capris but for £5000 grand you could have got the 280 Brooklands (last Capris made) come with full leather 2.8i engines and all the other toys.

I looked at getting myself a Capri a few months ago (black 2.0s) but couldnt afford the amount of fuel they drink

You're only suppose to blow the blo*dy doors off *wink*

Capris are great.

My dad had a mk1 3.0GT, mk2 3.0S, a mk3 2.8 injection, and finally a 2.8i special. The last two were bought in specific and open defiance of my Mum's desire for a barge-like saloon. I still fancy a mk1 3.0.

Best TV tunes are The Proper Grand Prix Music (The Chain by Fleetwood Mac), The Proper Cricket Music (Soul Limbo by Booker T and the MGs), Starsky & Hutch, Mission Impossible (Lalo Schifrin, class), The Sweeney (more Essex V6 iron there), The Avengers, The Professionals, Doctor Who, and Hill Street Blues.

Worst are Casualty, Triangle, Eastenders.

Cheesiest - It's a Knock Out and The Goodies.

To my shame I still sing the Fall Guy and Littlest Hobo in the bath. (both great IMHO and obviously under the influence of prescribed drugs)

As to Capri's. Dad had one. He would try and put something heavy in the boot to improve the handling. As to young to remember the engine but it did go very fast.

There's a place that I wanna be

Every step Itake I make a new friend, turn around and I'm gone again,

Maybe tomorrow I'll want to settle down, until tomorrow I'll just keep moving on

(repeat to fade and add other words that I can't remember)

Much better than Lassie.

Just remembered another Sweeney classic:

"Who taught you to drive? Evel Knievel?"

Or Father Ted:

"Dougal, these cows are SMALL, but those are FAR AWAY."

Only cars I remember in Father Ted were a Cortina, a Rover 200, a Porsche 911 and a milk float with a bomb in it.

"We're the Sweeney, son, and we haven't had any dinner and you've kept us waiting, so unless you want a kicking you had better tell us where those photographs are"

"Shut it"

Greatest theme tune EVER ... Magpie by the Spencer Davis Group. And of couse the Banana Splits.

One Banana, Two Banana, Three Banana, Four

All Bananas taking part in the second world war

One had a Tommy Gun, The other had a stick

Another had a Hand Grenade tied to his...

Tra La La, LaaLaLaLaaa

*smile*
