And just to rub salt into the wounds, I spent about £5 grand......... yes £5 grand on it last year. The last two were bought in specific and open defiance of my Mum's desire for a barge-like saloon. I still fancy a mk1 3.0. Best TV tunes are The Proper Grand Prix Music (The Chain by Fleetwood Mac), The Proper Cricket Music (Soul Limbo by Booker T and the MGs), Starsky & Hutch, Mission Impossible (Lalo Schifrin, class), The Sweeney (more Essex V6 iron there), The Avengers, The Professionals, Doctor Who, and Hill Street Blues. (both great IMHO and obviously under the influence of prescribed drugs) As to Capri's. Dad had one. He would try and put something heavy in the boot to improve the handling.
