Steve Campbell
I know it's not really a technical question but ...... I've seen a few sevens with an extremely 'erect' hood bag wink.gif. Mine develops a significant flaccid section in the middle !! Perhaps the bag takes after the driver ? Any idea on how to get a perfectly round and neat bag ? I thought of either packing it with something or even getting some half drain pipe to keep the round shape. Ideas please. spiderman
See Chris Clark's thread on the 9th of Jan called 'Nice n firm, not flaccid at all'. The solution to permanent rigidity awaits you there.

Fizzy Bob
I fitted a section of stiff cardboard tube, cut away in the middle to allow access. Mine now stays nice and stiff and round.
R500 CYA
Whats a hood bag? Should I worry that I don't have one? Flaccid or not! Or a hood. Or a windscreen. Or a life...........! smile.gif Edited by - Pinky on 13 Feb 2001 17:26:

R500 CYA
Arnie, Just found out. Apparently a hood bag is the collar of a train spotters Parker jacket, which unfolds to keep rain off their heads. This is especially important as the vast quantities of grease in the aforementioned hair allows water to drip down their necks thus reducing the amount of time they can spend observing lots of trains that all look the same. This proves I do not have any life what so ever. Slow Nick A fat man wink.gif in a much slower K-series smile.gif

R500 CYA
Thanks Arnie, Luckily I'm being sent to work out of Manchester airport for Thursday through to Saturday. How long do you reckon it takes for a steaming mad bird to chill?? Does K2RUM have a tow bar, I don't own much, but I couldn't bear leaving all those spares behind!
