metal mickey
The gaiter on the inboard end of the r/h drive shaft has split on my car. I've removed it from the car but can't see how the cv joint comes off the shaft in order to replace the gaiter. Can anybody tell me how to do this or is it a Ford main agent job? Thanks, Mike
Fred
this is a simple 5 min job if you know what to do .mike the best advice i would give is take the shaft and the new boot to your local garage tell him it is from a caterham and ask him to do it for you cost about £10.00 this way you won't make a costly mistake . F355GTS
Is there not a large circlip holding the CV joint onto the driveshaft? Mark
metal mickey
Thx, I can't see a circlip and i've tried a gently approach with the Birmingham screw driver with no joy so its off to the ford garage. Mike.
