puremalt
Dead on arrival as I'm sure you know. On occasion my x flow just goes clunk when I turn the key. No starter. A friend had this problem years ago when the bendix gear on the starter motor had lost a tooth and couldn't engage the flywheel. Any comments? It will start then properly after a 'jiggle' (and a few curses). Mine Farts and Belches
Anthony
Sounds like a battery issue to me, if not bendix might need light lubricant Anthony Off to the paint shop PDQ...
Mike Bey
I've had this before - turned out to be a dirty battery connection. Mike

John Howe
DOA... when my daughter was a wee little thing she would come out in the farm pickup, with me , when I was shooting rabbits. Each time I killed one I would tell her DOA... She missed heard the explanation for DOA and her version then stuck, viz, Dead on the Rifle... Special moments in the life on a daddy person - on the down side she has grown one since then and is old enough to drive next month.
