andytommo
Some friendly gents at the recent Brooklands handling day pointed out that my exhaust seemed to have sagged! They diagnosed a broken engine mount=correct Ive got a new bracket from caterham. Is it a simple job to swap the bracket over? Do i have to jack the engine up a bit so it no longer sags? Does the alternator get in the way? Andy
Peter Carmichael
Its all a bit fiddly under there, but is otherwise as straightforward as you've already worked out.
andytommo
Many thanks Mr Carmicheal, You the man-as they say in the Blaham-streatham area I was goning wait untill the engine swap but ive got to drive to kent tommorow (on biz) and was understandably a bit nervous that the engine might fall out and get lost at the side of the road. I apreciate all your organising on the engine swap. Had a nice chat with Dr Carl - i thought he'd have a ford GT40 engine in there by now.
