not a Postman Pat
TOP TIP FOR TRACKDAYS When you are (1) travelling a very long way to a track day (hypothetically, say, from somewhere near Gatwick Airport to Cadwell Park) and (2) having your 7 towed on a trailer for the first time my top tip would be: Don't forget to bring your steering wheel 😳 😳 😳 Pat and his not quite black and white cat

allen
Hard luck Sounds like a good reason for not fitting one. Did you manage to sort anything?
not a Postman Pat
Luckily it worked out in the end - I managed to blag one from someone there . Although it fitted upside down (!) so my steering column had to be adjusted first ❗. Top of my list of 'things never to do again'. That'll teach me to go for the towing option ... scooby dooby doo
why have a removable wheel at all 🤔 isn't it just asking to get nicked by some thug 🤔 HOOPY 500 kg (and soon) 200 bhp R706KGU
not a Postman Pat
The supposed logic is, if I remove the wheel when I park the car, the thug can't nick the rest of the car ... It's also good if I have a race accident, makes some room for the marshals to extract me. Finally, it's main purpose is to make twits like me look stupid - gives everyone else a laugh. Boonie Hound
Well I've got enough money for the wheel it's just the rest of the car I now have to buy ☹️ Still I can now make vroom, vroom, noises holding a wheel while running along the road........I really need to go home now and find a dark room.
