DaveMorris
oh well - if you don't ask, then you don't get. Although it's very unlikely is there anyone out there with a spare (ha ha) ali tank suitable for use on a x-flow dry sump. I'm told that ideally I would need a 6" diameter and 18" high tank. 5/8 bsp inlet and outlet. Don't care is it's splittable or not (I don't intend to go trashing engines regularly enough to need a splittable tank). Alternatively, best place to go and get a new shiney one (Brise Fabrications has been mentioned, DT's are very close to me but everyone tells me they're too dear). Anyway, I'd best be off and get some sleep in preparation for dealing with all the offers which'll come flooding in tomorrow, Dave.
greg
As it happens I have a complete drysump kit that is spare (sump, tank, pump, plumbing, remote oil filter housing) This is a caterham kit that has been lightly used, the tank is fine, but not cosmetically perfect). It is splittable, with a wier. The pickup is arround 10mm above the tank base. Overall a nice design. Whole lot £250, or tank £90 (New with VAT they are £180 😳) Greg, Q 86 NTM (Green 185BHP XF)
