Morls
Sorry... I only have steak pies. But...... Delicious home-made Chicken and Mushroom (as big as a V8 airfilter) pies are simple with the following ingredients: Chicken Breast, Cubed and fried with a little seasoning, garlic and onion. Add slices of mushroom and fry for a further minute. Add a tin of Cambells condensed Mushroom soup. Simmer for 5 minutes. Throw into large pie dish. Roll out a thin (1/8") circle of "jusroll" frozen flaky pastry. And place on top, complete with pastry cutouts of mushrooms (or a field of chickens for the artistic). Bake for 15 minutes.# Serve with chips and beans Mark My Caterham Silver Jubilee No. 7 is here with Mavis, under 'Mark's Cars'.
Violet Elizabeth
mmmmm chips and beans An ex-"school" mate (who was expelled at around the same time I was) is from Middlesborough, hence northern, hence a BIG lover of pies Having been expelled he said he wanted to get a job in a pie factory as this was his lifes ambition He now works at Occado, working over a warehouse full of PIES and other Waitrose stuff. They have a vending machine and a microwave, which has Pasties and PIES and such like. It is his dream job , a DBA in a pie factory ! Morls
Cambells condensed Mushroom soup can be replaced by their Chicken soup for the non-shroomies. Wouldn't a BDA in a pie factory be rather noisy And people from Middlesboghorror don't normally eat pies... They eat Parmos! The ne7ers lurkers or Hoopy hould be able to explain Parmos by now Mark My Caterham Silver Jubilee No. 7 is here with Mavis, under 'Mark's Cars'. Morls
There should be a picture of me with a nice pie at the weekend here: here But if it doesn't work it should be at here then "Gallery", then "Amusing driving pics", then "untitled folder" Experts can probably tell from the gravy, it was a cooplands steak pie, at two for £1.10 (in the north).
