nobananas
At easter some good friends of mine and Mrs NB invited us to dinner. Amongst other delicious things we had roast Mooli . If you have never had it you really should..... IT IS THE MOST DISGUSTING VEGETABLE I HAVE EVER TASTED !.....the rest of the meal was fantastic though
Laurence Wilson
Mooli 🤔 ... "A popular vegetable belonging to Radish family. Produces a long white root of excellent flavour. May be eaten raw or cooked." Oh! Mooli Never had it. I like radishes though Peardrop

nobananas
We thought it might taste like roast parsnips (very tasty !) but instead it did a very good impression of roast foam-backed carpet !

Dickie Normuss
Pat - Olives Cucumber Brocoli Cress (if I wanted to eat grass, I'd get it for free from my own garden) Cabbage Cauliflower Peardrop - Roast parsnips All of these are minging, wouldn't even throw them at passing BMW's OK, so I lied, I do frequently 😬 Seek forgiveness, not permission. Laurence Wilson
Actually, not to single out roast parsnip ... I hate parsnip whatever you do with it 🙆🏻. If you don't like brocoli then you've never had it real fresh and crisp . I agree about the pointlessness of cress, although I still like it until it gets stuck between my teeth 😬 ❗ AND STOP PICKING ON CUCUMBER . PICK ON COURGETTES, MARROWS AND SQUASHES! THEY ARE EVIL! Laurence Wilson
** wonders if sticking an arse emoticon next to a phrase suggesting you could anything to a parsnip was really a good idea ** Ric, have you not found that cress is really hard to throw Or do you just chuck the lump of turf it's always sold in 🤔 Aim for open windows Peardrop
Dickie Normuss
I use genetically modified cress, each leaf is about the size and weight of a cabbage, does some serious damage Seek forgiveness, not permission.
