Paul Ranson
To whom it may concern..... I lowered my 2 litre Vauxhall onto a bathroom scales this afternoon, 105-108kg. With starter/clutch/oil pump/inlet manifold and throttle bodies including air filter. and probably a sump full of oil. (there's a kilo or two to save there....) This confirms the archaeological evidence, someone has written '107.5kg' on the block with a felt tip pen. Paul
Alex Wong1697456877
Confirms what I thought. My weight balances out the engine weight up front nicely! Alex
mark.hall
Any chance of any-one doing the same with a K, a kent and a Zetecquestion.gif Could prove very interesting.
CHRIS CLARK
I wish I'd read this thread earlier, but I WAS OUT in the Seven!!!! This weekend I dismantled a 'K' 1400. Should have thought of this scale idea, but I presume it's all written down somewhere already. PS. Have 'lost' the Dave Andrews web site address for his 'K' info. Anyone please got it?
