I suggest some lucky heather in your top pocket - I've heard of others who've replaced more and less than me (luckily it's no longer a problem as I have a speedo with a wheel sensor). 3 in that time does seem a bit much though. I have also replaced and re-routed the cable in case of it snagging. maybe my car is just that fast the worms can't cope with the sudden surge of power! Cheers!
