allegro
Can somebody confirm whether the FIA rollbar has to be black to participate in club sprints and track days. I have a nagging feeling that it does, due to cracks showing up better against a black back ground. Many thanks
Barry H
Not as far as I know. I have competed in about 35 events during the past couple of years with a yellow roll bar and no comment has ever been made by scrutineers. FIA roll bars are not mandatory on most sprints anyway (apart, quite rightly, from Low Flying sprints) and most track day organisers do not take that level of interest. V7 SLR
Nope. You can run whatever colour you like. Mine's the Se7ens-list-world-famous Azure blue and had no problems with scrutineering at Curborough.
Paul R.
No problem with roll bar colour, although I suspect there ought to be with the ones covered in leather! In any event cracks are more obvious on light coloured items. Paul R.
