Hilbron Runde Posted April 18, 2003 Share Posted April 18, 2003 ☹️ Just fitted two engine mountings ( rubber blocks ) I noticed that the new ones are about 5mm thicker than those I replaced. The original problem ( before replacement ) was a vibrating noise when on tickover, I think this is now cured but the K&N back air filter is rubbing badly on the cut out in the bonnet. I can't shim the mountings as this will make them even higher, I don't want to cut the bonnet opening but is there any way the air filter box can be ajusted ?? I'm thinking on the lines of bending the two bolts that hold the filter cover plate. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
