Heskyboy
Anyone know the torque setting for the sump plug? VX8v???? Cheers Heskyboy 6ft 4 squeezing into R996 VCH
Sheds Moderator
It isn't too important as long as you don't strip the plug. About as tight as a spark plug, another thing I fit without a torque wrench. Say 3-4 lbft at a guess, and fit a new copper washer while you are there. Heskyboy
Cheers batteredodsupersport Envious of your location, fantastic seven country. Somehow Warrington hasnt quite got the same ambiance. Heskyboy 6ft 4 squeezing into R996 VCH
Sheds Moderator
That's OK, happy to be able to help. As for location, yes I am a lucky bloke. Sadly the car is still in UK pending me finding a place to live . As for Warrington, I have friends there and it's OK, if a bit rainy. I also have problems coming to terms with 200,000 UKP for a 2 bed house when half that round here gets you 4 beds, garage, walled garden, and wine cellar (of course). Somehow that makes it worth the wait.

Sheds Moderator
Gentlemen, 😬. Hope to see you on a blat somewhere in this fine country. Meanwhile I am about to sign up for a rental on a detached house, 4 (albeit small) beds, garage, workshop, walled garden, 625 euros PCM (£415!). No, I can't believe it either so I am going to sign up quickly and get the machine here PDQ. There's always a downside though, I will have to buy some of that shocking wine stuff to fill the cellar. *sigh*
