Neil Bolton
Looking forward to the club trackday at Donington coming up soon! Was wondering about how it will work.....Caterhams have a 20 min slot each hour (rest of time taken by MGs) and I saw on the event description that the day is limited to 32 cars. So does that mean potentially 32 Caterhams on track at the same time?? Sounds a lot to me unless I'm misreading the set up. Anyone know?
Leadership Team Simon Maitland Posted October 2 Leadership Team Share Posted October 2 Hi Neal. MSV set the actual track limit at 40 cars but we do not sell to the track limit to ensure that the track is not over crowded. You are correct we just sell 32 places. There will be room for everyone. Regards. Simon.

aerobod - near CYYC
We often have 60 cars at our track days, but have very little crowding as there are usually only 20 cars on track at any given time. In a 6 to 7 hour track day I think the average driver will only do 2 hours or less of on-track time, with hard-core lappers doing 3 hours or so. StevehS3
Even with the cars lined up and leaving together for the 20 min session it is surprising how quickly they spread out. Later in the day the number of cars seems to reduce too.
