anthony1956 Posted September 22 Author Share Posted September 22 (edited) Lovely, thanks, supplementary question is why would I have left that white space behind it un painted? and presumably it must pierce the block to measure the pressure, but where/how? edit oh or not, the black tube acquires the oil and passes it to the sender to measure..? (like on my K? except I suppose that's not VDO) and in this pic the oil "hose" is not present because the engine is out... I guess? Where I am going with all this is whether the location on the engine is simply a mounting point where it is bolted to the block, but the block is not pierced at all.
