Steering wheel quick release

I am after a standard black Lifeline quick release fitting for a Momo steering wheel (I have bought a different sized wheel and want to be able to switch between the two) Anybody got one that is no longer needed?

Hi Guy

Looking at the photos of yours it looks like it is 180 degrees out from mine.

Mine has the large tooth at the 12 o’clock position and this lines up with one of the 3 bolt positions for the steering wheel. The steering wheel when fitted has one bolt hole at the top and two at the bottom.

Are you able to show a photo to confirm the location of the large tooth on the spline, does it align with a bolt hole or flat between bolt holes.

If you are only going to change the wheel once, or rarely, you can turn the UJ at the bottom of the column by 180 degrees

I am in Corfu this week so can’t check. From memory the “flat” is at 12 o clock the normal position on the RaceTech wheel between the two bolts. Here is an old image

I have one where the large spline aligns with the single hole if this is the correct orientation for your requirement.

The Caterham ones are normally 180 degrees out compared to standard Lifeline. I have two wheels and when I bought the second QR I had to buy it c/w upper shaft (which remains unused) as shown earlier.
