We can experiment with all sorts of icing, shortly Hoops 😳 just tell me the type of cake you want to "ice" with:-

Fondant

Royal

(Non) Butter (not sure if that'll work)

But, for all of them, you do need icing sugar *tongue*

instructions *confused* there's a new concept. I'll read the packet tonight.

Then Emma and I can hone our basic cake making skills (a first for both of us) before going to the land of FH for advanced cake making skills with here and Mr FH *smile*

We were thinking of a basic sponge, with jam in the middle and a bit of icing on top with a few chocolate buttons to make it extra yummy. Is this too ambitious for a first cake 🤔

I made a nice sponge cake at the weekend and Emma helped me. Then I put jam in the middle and icing on top and we decoreated it chocolate buttons.

Then I ate (almost) all of it *tongue* *tongue* *tongue* *tongue* *tongue* *tongue* 😬

FH had a bit and said it was very good for a first effort but gave me some helpful hints to make it better next time *smile*
