Rubbertoe Posted July 11 Share Posted July 11 (edited) Currently got the axle in bits for a refresh and I'd like to shim the bearings. I'm yet to take measurements but just want to confirm a few things before going any further. The ital Haynes suggests bearing is seated 72.14mm from the threaded end of the shaft. Assume this isn't hard up to the inner shoulder of the shaft at that? But with the machined shim between the bearing and hub, then the bearing needs to be pressed all the way up?
