Toby S
Thinking of doing some touring later in summer and therefore re-fitting my windscreen again and wipers (including the wiper motor back in) having been on Brooklands for the last 5-6 years I can't find the nuts which hold the wiper spindles/motor to the scuttle (just below the wiper arm's) - Does anyone have a clue on size of the nuts (look circa 1/2 inch to me although haven't measured them properly yet) - the car is a 1992 K series supersport so would guess it would be an imperial
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted July 9 Leadership Team Share Posted July 9 Are they the same as from a classic Mini?
TomB
Redline stock these, I replaced mine a couple of years ago as the threads were worn on the old nuts & I couldn’t secure the wiper spindles.
Neil220
I have 2 you can have. My car has a Brooklands screen so I removed (and sold the wiper motor) My car is a 1996 K series. Bigger than 1/2" , I think possibly 5/8" but probably metric. I used to have minis, old ones had a 6 sided nut with a bicycle thread! Later ones had 8 sides and were metric My Caterham ones have 8. Happy to post them if you want them
