'95 SuperSprint LSD Oil

Hi

I've got a '95 SuperSprint,  what oil should I use to top up the LSD? I understand that there are two types of LSD, and they use different oils, is this correct? And, if so how can I tell which sort mine is?

Hi Paul,

Maybe something or nothing.

I’m assuming that you have a dedion and a Ford Sierra diff?                                                    If so, look up mycaterham.com you will see Angus detailed his journey through his Caterham ownership experience very thoroughly. 
Within the many documented entries you will find one titled differential LSD. There you will find some images explaining how to discern exactly what LSD you have fitted within your diff.I am aware that there are other options these days but it’s a solid starting point and very interesting, if nothing else I’m sure you would probably enjoy the read. It’s something I’ve used in the past for this very reason (identifying my own diff) and have referred to it many times as it’s such a great site.
