Miker7
Having a potter and I decided to remove the Rev counter (seems a perfectly normal thing to do at 11.30pm on a boiling hot Wednesday evening to me). How in buggery (*) do you remove the wiring connector? It's a 2002 k series 6 or 8 pin connector with two rows of pins. I've only got enough slack to get the gauge just clear of the dash. Don't want to pull too hard in case I break something as I've got a pass out for Saturday & want a working car. (**) (* On googling this I found a Rev counter thread that didn't answer my question but did reference this word so I thought I'd continue the trend) (** Which logically means stop playing but it's boiling hot and heat makes people do silly things) Edited June 26 by Miker7
Member Jonathan Kay Posted June 26 Member Share Posted June 26 I don't know if any had release tabs. Can you stick a smart 'phone up and use the camera and screen to have a look? If that doesn't work then feel around the edge of the connector. Jonathan

Miker7
Found the clip to press whilst having another play. It's in the middle of one side, press in, pull and wiggle and it comes free.
