Radn34
Spotted on the Sevens and Classics website. Still a lot of money (and I know I am biased) but I think a steal at what they are asking for it. Considering there is a 620s for the same money, I know which one I would have! https://www.sevensandclassics.com/showroom/caterham-levante
Area Representative Paul Richards Posted May 30 Area Representative Share Posted May 30 Very nice. I think the V6 was actually 2.3L not 2.4L. In any event a very quick car.
Radn34
I think you are correct. The V8 is 2.4L and quick Google suggests the V6 is 2.3L.

Radn34
Yup - a Sadev gearbox and paddle shift is probably nudging towards £20k alone.
Area Representative bluenose Posted May 30 Area Representative Share Posted May 30 Couple of things make me laugh, rusty steering wheel bolts 🙄, CR500 tyres 🤣 , those stupid headlights and the hideous elise type dash. Always thought the engine install was amazing but the styling woeful. At least this one does not have the silly rear wings. If I thought I could drive a Caterham with 600bhp I would sort the dash out, new 5 1/4” headlights, normal carbon front wings and some new tyres ASAP. A lot of car for the money. What happens if the engine explodes? Nick

rgrigsby
I didn't realise they had the Freestyle inboard suspension on the Levante's, it's certainly an interesting looking thing. Having said that how usable a 600bhp Caterham would be, even on track, is a big question. Years ago I remember getting a passenger ride in a non-Levante Caterham with the 2.4L V8, I think it had round 400-450bhp and it was insanely quick and seemed to spend as much time spinning the wheels as it did accelerating.
