O.G. Posted May 21 Share Posted May 21 My 2015 360R SV has had rear brake squeal for a number of years. Recently I have had my final failed attempt at fixing which involved fitting the saddle clip above the pads (not fitted at build). Cleaning and chamfering the pads and copper easing the back plates. SM25T Posted May 22 Share Posted May 22 Has it had a change of pads in the past. Maybe a different friction material to the previous ones. The noise is the old pad material coating on the surface of the disc reacting to the current pads. Or maybe the pads are glazed hard, as the rears don't do a lot. AlastairA Posted May 22 Share Posted May 22 Just in case it helps - I had a squeal too for a while and found the cause was the saddle clip kept coming dislodged.
