Jan_Coombes
Any idea what sort of strength limit and length I should go for? www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk www.JanCoombes.com
felix.klauser
I would use 4 straps, one at each corner. Under panic braking you might see 1g but probably less. So if the car weighs 600 kg then the straps need to restrain 600 kg between the two of them. Most straps will have a load rating of at least 1000 lbs each so they'll be fine. Stronger is better obviously but no need to go OTT.
mav
I use two from Machine mart. Best to buy new and they are not that expensive (About £15 each). That way you will always know the history on them too.
