David_Stamp
I have just seen todays Merlin Motorsport information email which announces the new availability of a special 'Merlin Muffler'. How it would fit a Caterham I am not sure, (maybe OK only on a rear exit exhaust??) but I thought that it might be of interest for those that do track days to read about: https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p/merlin-mild-steel-racing-muffler-m-ex-muff-4 Edited March 19 by David_Stamp Spelling correction
Miker7
I've always wondered if a better solution would be an expansion box (empty chamber) to slow down the exhaust gasses before the standard perforated tube section. As no one does this on a normal exhaust I assume it wouldn't work but I don't understand why.
