1990s Supersprint original wheels

Does anyone happen to know the details of the wheels that would have been fitted to a 1996 Supersprint 1700 as standard?  I have a copy of the sales brochure covering (I think) the relevant year and in that the wheels are stated as being "6J x 14 aluminium alloy" but most of the photographs  in the brochure appear to show the Supersprint with prisoner wheels fitted (which I understand are 15 inch).  When you then look at the options sheet in the back of brochure the section for wheel choice is blanked out as "not available" regarding the Supersprint.  Would be great to hear if anyone has looked into this question before.  Essentially just trying to find out what the period appropriate wheels are (mine is currently running 16 inch HPC wheels so not sure if these were maybe fitted at a later date or if they were the original ones).  Many thanks.

I have a brochure that covers my car, a 1996 1.6 K series Supersport.

It mentions the K series and Vauxhall engines but not the Ford engine supersprint.

However, all the variants have 14" wheels except the Superlight versions which have 13".

Yes, many of the photographs show 15" wheels but each page has the comment

"Please note: photographs may include options"

(My car has 14" wheels)

Not sure if this helps, but…

I have the 158-page spiral-bound, illustrated “De Dion Parts Catalogue”. I can’t find an issue date in it, though fairly sure it was late 20th Century, and some parts are specified for cars ’96 and on.

The only 14” wheel shown is the Minilite/Minator/Supalite style, in one - unspecified - width (presumably 6"?). It’s indicated to be ‘standard’ for the XFlow Supersprint (and for Rover 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8 cars though ‘optional’ for VVC and VX cars) with all the other wheels, including 13”, being ‘options’ for the Supersprint There is no mention of the earlier KN alloy (not K&N!) with the polished front face to the spokes, which I think may have come in both 13” and 14”. (The ‘latest’ wheel shown is the 13” 5-spoke split rim which appeared on the Superlight R.)
