MarkD
The fuse for the 12v socket on my year 2000 k series has just blown whilst using a tyre inflator, (tyre inflator still works OK on another car) is there an easy way to tell which one needs replacing. I dont have a wiring diagram but wonder if it is always the same fuse in 7s this age & engine. Any help welcome before i go with trail and error. Member Jonathan Kay Posted September 23, 2023 Member Share Posted September 23, 2023 I don't think that would have been a factory-fitted socket. Is there an inline fuseholder in the feed to the socket? Or a piggyback fuseholder at the fuse box?Jonathan

Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted September 24, 2023 Area Representative Share Posted September 24, 2023 Why not just check each fuse with a continuity tester? I have to assume you don't know where the fuse is as you don't state the current rating. But you will know the current draw of the pump, as it should be stated on the unit.
