Glynh
My search for rattles goes on, I have noted that the build manual instructs three and four spacer washers on the A frame mounting but I only have two and three, is this a common occurrence? Wrightpayne
Its however many washers are needed to take up the slack.I don't know alot about later chassis or SVs however those bolts look like they are metric. The bushes in the A frame I understood to be an imperial size - 1/2" bore. Might be worth checking the build manual for what bolts should be used Vs what is installed. aerobod - near CYYC
The bushes in my 2012 R400 A-frame are mixed - 12mm bore with M12 bolts on the front 2 bolts, 1/2" bore and 1/2" UNF bolt in the centre deDion bush.
Wrightpayne
Just checked the parts website and there are now metric bore bushes available in 10mm and 12mm bore sizes.Every day a school day!
Glynh
I have a 2022 car but the De Dion / A frame bolt thread looks to be 1/2" UNF.

Englishmaninwales
I add washers (1994 dedion chassis), enough to take up the slack, with the dedion centrally located, +/- 2mm (or what ever the manual now says for later imperial/SV cars). Measurement for centralisation of the dedion can be problematic if the rear chassis tubes are bent!Malcolm
KnifeySpoony
Afaik, there is no set number of washers. You need as many on each side to center the dedion, while filling the gap.
