Roadsport06
Good evening all,I had my coolant temperature rise a little in traffic and found my fan switch isn't working. My thermostat is 82 degrees so I'm looking for a fan switch to cycle a little higher 86-95 degrees is what I think is fitted. Does anyone have a part number or car it is from so I can get one ordered? (1.8 k series 140bhp)
Member Jonathan Kay Posted June 22, 2023 Member Share Posted June 22, 2023 I bought one a couple of years ago from Redline. IIRC they had switches with different cut-in temperatures. But if they haven't please let us know and I'll search the archives.Jonathan
SM25T
Some examples. The higher temperature is when switch closes, the lower when it opens again. Thanks to Andrew Revill for the research
