Vinman1
Need to put a Handbrake assembly in my 1979 RHD Seven. Looking for info on what car the handbrake lever and other bits for the set up came from? I know it is odd in that the sheath moves rather than the cable, and the lever has to be modified (i.e. Bent) for use under the Seven dash/cowl area. Any info advise greatly appreciated
Jonathan Kay
Have you got a copy of Weale's book? If not I'll have a look when I get home. Jonathan

Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted June 14, 2023 Area Representative Share Posted June 14, 2023 I could photograph mine for you but can't help on what was the original source.
paul_w
I bought what I'm fairly sure was the last handbrake Caterham had. It didn't have the barrel so I had to make my own. I spent a lot of time trying to work out the source with no joy, so I would try Redline or Mike Brotherwood http://www.mikebrotherwood.com/Parts.html
Vinman1
Thanks guys for the inputs and links. I have the Weale book which is where I learned about the handbrake operation. I have reached out the several possible sources. What the handbrake handle came from seems to be the greatest mystery with Sevens. Will update with any info
