Kermit the K
I need to touch in a few chips on my cars (yellow)nose & (green)wings, do i have to buy paint from Caterham, or will Halfords etc do a match. Kermit the K
Sheds Moderator
On all my cars I just find a match at the local acces shop. It may be a half shade out but once faded and T cut the join is invisible. There will be a BRG and a yellow that are close enough for stonechips etc. Somebody will be along in a minute to tell you Ford Canary Yellow and Trabant Grubby Green are a perfect match, Im sure. philwaters
Pegeot Conifer Green is pretty close and Fiat Broom yellow isn't bad but it is deffinitley lighter..... How much do halfords charge these days? Caterham will sell you a mixed up pot of the right colour for about £6.50 each, so add a couple of quid for postage and you are looking at about £15-16... My local halfords only had 'kits' for £9.99 a throw... so cheaper and you get the right colour! Phil Waters You mean you can drive these? I thought it was just there to polish 😬
Lee
Damn, was expecting a request, not a paint question! 😬 😳
