TheArchitect
Hello!I need to replace my lowered floor as it's splitting open. Am I correct in thinking an SV Metric chassis shares the same floor pan as a CSR? I want to have a go myself but really want to make sure I get the right parts before removing the existing floor! Also! What rivets should I be sourcing for this job? Many ThanksRich
Jonathan Kay
it's often recommended to get hold of a powered rivet gun for this. There's one in the Equipment Register.Jonathan
SM25T
Talk to Arch Motors in Huntingdon. They make the panels. They can also offer a drive in - drive out floor fitting if you want

Hand riveter would be hard work. Some spray waxoil or a can of white grease to squirt in the box sections to stop the old heads from rattling around . Clean surfaces before putting sealant on.I did both floors on an S3 recently and found it straight forward. Ordered from Caterham, 2 weeks delivery. Holes line up perfectly.
