Ian Lummis
Good afternoon all having trawled through the archives i am looking for a sensible toe and camber angle for road use .Front tryes at present showing excess wear on inside avon zzs 13 inch rims . Looking at front of car i would think to much negative camber have accsess to camber and castor gauge and string line for toe settings thanks. Member Jonathan Kay Posted April 24, 2023 Member Share Posted April 24, 2023 Suggested settings are in the Assembly Guide. Table 28 in your copy.Jonathan
John Vine
I suffered similar wear on my R400D 195/50-15 ZZS tyres. Eric at Millwoods suggested adjusting toe to parallel. Seems to have done the trick, with no discernible handling difference on the road.JV
7 wonders of the world
Ianif you can check your current settings for castor camber and tow with ballast and post on here, also your tyre model size and pressures too.more pronounced wear on the inner edges is not uncommon since we generally run with a more agressive alignment set up compared to a tintop. there are many options for set up depending on what individuals want and how they like the car to feel too. mph
This is how my R400 on 13s is setup. Rides and handles a joy. Note: it has been flat floored and I'm only 63 kg. Might affect that setup.
