MattB
My heater valve appears to be leaking from where the upper 'T' is pressed into the valve body.Has anyone else experienced this?If there's an easy fix I'd rather do that than deal with it as a warranty issue.MattB
ECR
If the tee is leaking, a run of solder should fix it. You would have to remove the valve to solder it though otherwise you'd never get enough heat into the part to melt the solder...

Leadburn
I had this symptom. It's worth checking whether the rubber pipes between the valve and the heater matrix have perished internally, allowing the coolant to leach along the hose braiding and seep out at the end, giving the appearance of a leaky valve. The hoses were 6 years old: valve replaced (with £12 job from taxi, above) and hoses replaced the other week and now seem fine.
