Ian Lummis Posted April 2, 2023 Share Posted April 2, 2023 Hi on my starter motor the wiring is as follows, large red wire positive supply from battery, single brown wire to alternor two joined wires white and red to ignition switch .the latest build manual version 2 mentions two brown wires as well I cannot seem to find these any ideas would be grateful. John Vine Posted April 4, 2023 Share Posted April 4, 2023 This is the wiring detail from my 2008 R400D Assembly Guide:Para #36 omits to mention the Battery Master Switch (which I have). The red lead is marked "START" and runs from the BMS.Are all looms for r400d the same .Probably, and I think they all had a BMS as standard.
