Swiss_Tony
Does anyone know the noise limits for the L7C sprints at Lydden and Curborough? James Su77on Se7ens
Jason Plato
As I recall it was 105Db @ 0.5 m at curborough last year . dave
SteveP
Going by the MSA Blue Book, it specifies a maximum of 108DB at 2/3 max revs measured at 0.5m - I would assume that we would be tested to that requirement at any sprint / hillclimb meeting. Pete
You will be tested according to the requirements of the track in question. This varies depending on the reaction of the Nimbies in the area and is fixed by the local Planning Authority (and we know whose side they are on!) My car tests at 98Db and I do not have problems at Lydden. (quietly) pete
simon_fletcher
Make sure whenit's tested you run it at the right revs and the tester holds the probe at the right distance. I nearly had a problem at an airfield day last year when the chap stuck the probe in the end of the exhaust. That half a metre makes quite a difference...
