Rich Goddard
HiCan anyone share power & torque curve graphs for a 360 both before and after conversion to 420? Preferably the standard CC conversion, without any independent/third-party tuning/mapping. Cheers. Rich.
Jonathan Kay
I can't find them in the archives. It's an interesting gap in our collective documentation. And the third-party site that used to have lots of curves seems to have disappeared... what was it's name?Happy ChristmasJonathan

StevehS3
This website has the 360 listed along with other Caterham models. https://www.automobile-catalog.com/curve/2017/2515220/caterham_seven_360_6-speed.html#gsc.tab= Note it states approximation so presumably not an actual power curve. cobar
A clarification on the dyno plot shown in #4 and linked in #3. That is the plot from my old engine. Although it has 420 cams, it has a different exhaust (4-2-1 with very long secondaries) and 45mm Jenveys. I suspect the shape of a 420 engine as fitted to a stock Caterham will be shaped slightly differently. BTW those are rear wheel numbers from a Mustang dyno.-John
KnifeySpoony
Keep in mind those dyno pics are from US owners - in the US, dyno sheets are pretty much always given with uncorrected WHP/WTQ numbers. I notice UK dyno shops tend to show corrected numbers, from my time here.

Alan Reeves
Rich ive BM you the data as from the Two Steves .Note it is a 175 to 210 which may be different to a 360 to 420 as I believe there are differences in the engines ( 360 a Mexico made unit ?) I used the original ECU with a map from CC and then fettled by the two steves. I needed different injectors and I believe the 360/420 doesnt ? Alanps JK may well post the data for me ,
