alcal
I've managed to separate the main body from the metal arm (don't ask). Is there a way to open it up so I can re-attach it? It's not obvious. If not, anyone know where I could buy a replacement ? Caterham don't list them. Thanks

Speedtrip
I carefully prised the glass out, reassembled then stuck the glass back in.I guess I was probably trying to do the same thing as you.....
Tom_Arundel
I`ve got a couple of spares in the shed.. You can retrieve the `nut` using a screw and then `fiddle` it back togetherwhere are you?
alcal
Jonathan - I'm not sure a photo would help as there is nothing to see.Speedtrip - I'll try that if all else fails.Tom - Mine may be a different design to yours. It's a new car and the quality looks inferior to the the ones on my previous 7. The screw holding the mirror body to the arm goes into a nut held inside the body by a spring and bowl shaped washer. I can't see how to re-combine the 2 main parts without gaining access to the inside of the body. I'm in East Kent and may be in the market for a mirror! Tom_Arundel
I don`t like the standard mirrors, they have a limited field of view, so I went to the local Bike shop and bought a pair of nice ones for £20 .....much better field of view and in my opinion, look a lot better.,so you can have my old (15yrs.) ones F.O.C. MattB
The mirrors on my Jan 2022 420 were rubbish. The spring that held the arm to the base was different to the one shown on the Caterham parts webpage, and was so weak that the mirror was hanging loose after a few weeks.I had to cut a 1" hole in the front of the mirror to reassemble things after loosening the mirror screw too far. A rubber blanking plug filled the hole neatly. At this point I was fed up with the damn things. I now have a set of Spa mirrors on Eccles mounts - infinitely better.MattB
gaxor
The trick I used to get the glass off the mirror body was to gently warm the mirror with a heat gun to soften the glue
