Brake pads compatibility

  I am David from the south of Spain. I have a 2003 Caterham 1.6 k Roadsport EU3. I would like to change the brake pads. Do you know if the Caterham brake pads are being used by any other British car??, I can find in Spain MG, Triumph and any other British cars spares but nor Caterham. The last orders I made to UK I paid import taxes plus customs charges and it made the bill to grow much more. I only drive in road not track or race.

Do you have the standard Girling front calipers and Ford Sierra rear calipers ?

you have Triumph Spitfire front and Ford Sierra rear.

Triumph Spitfire Mk IV for the fronts. I expect Mk 3 is the same, but I think early ones were different. Not sure which variety of Ford Sierra the rears come from, but that should be a good starting point.

For the rears you can look at Delph part number 507CC. The part number of the pads for the front with Girling calipers is Mintex  MGB533 M1144.

#8 unless there is some old stock around (Caterham don't have any) 507CC isn't available. Replaced by LP507 which has a different material.

a friend located Delph 507CC overseas at a car parts retailer or Amazon, so not unique to Caterham

I already bought the brake pads, I was reading the part 5 of Get To Know Your 7 about changing the brake pads. Last weekend I changed the front ones, but the part 5 of GTKY7 doesn´t explain how to change the rear pads, where the hand brake is also fixed, they only explain how to check the wear on the pads. Must I remove the caliper to change the pads??, how to remove the pads, I don't see pad retaining pins as the front calipers??, any consideration about the rear brake adjust??.
