Terry Field
Some guidance please. 1.8 K (non VVC).Just checking the car over (cold) and the coolant seems to be very low, well below the 'coolant level' marker on the tank. Before I top it up I would appreciate some advice.Do I top it up to the line just about the 'Coolant Level' wording on the tank? My only reservation it that the level seems quite high and without much room for expansion when hot.Secondly, what antifreeze should I top it up with? The Comma versions available include the Comma Coldstream concentrate, which is mentioned in the original handbook. I assume that would ok to add to whatever is in there now? Many thanks
Member Jonathan Kay Posted October 14, 2022 Member Share Posted October 14, 2022 Yes, up to the line. But with appropriate precautions to avoid leaving air in the system... would you like a summary?I use "Comma XSM5L 5L Xstream G30 Antifreeze and Coolant Ready Mixed ". But I'd be happy to use the same concentrate.Jonathan
