SamC Posted November 23, 2022 Share Posted November 23, 2022 It's worth mentioning that they are the same as k-nuts in that the top is deformed to ovalise the last thread. It gives them a fairly high prevailing torque (i.e. you won't be able to wind the bolt fully in with your fingers), which offers fantastic vibration/loosening resistance.
