nonturbo
I noticed the led shift light has never worked.Whilst in for a service the garage have replaced the light but it's still not working.Supposedly the light is meant to flash for a second when the ignition is turned.Any ideas or checks?cheers

Wrightpayne
What engine / spec? Shift light only active on certain models.I have an EU2 supersport K series and had to fit the LED / loom, one connection to pin 19 of the ECU plug and build manual says other was +ve (I seem to recall it was earth) car built 24 years ago.The LED / loom was still available from Caterham parts when I looked last. revilla
That was very specific to the SuperSport ECU, it won't work sensibly on other Rover ECUs. They're not mapped the same (it was done by tweaking the map to drive the air conditioning based on RPM).
